Watch It!.
A personal reminder for the preventive-care checkups your doctor will not chase you about, and a tracker for the insurance benefits you already pay for.
What it is
A reminder tool. You tell it your age and sex, and it shows you the preventive screenings that apply to you and when they are due. You add your insurance benefits (dental, vision, massage, therapy), and it tracks the balance so nothing expires unused.
What it is not
Not medical advice. Not a diagnostic tool. Not a replacement for talking to your doctor. Not an EMR or medical record. Watch It! does not know your specific insurance plan, and coverage information here reflects what is typical, not what your plan actually covers.
Most of what kills adults early is preventable. Blood pressure has no symptoms until it does damage. Colon cancer grows silently for years. Cholesterol builds up in the background. The tests that catch these things exist, they are usually covered, and we still skip them.
Watch It! is a small nudge. Not from a hospital. Not from your doctor's overloaded records system. Just a personal tool that says, "hey, it has been three years since your cholesterol check."
Set up your profile
Enter your name (optional), date of birth, and sex assigned at birth. That is all we need to build your schedule. Add family history, country, and insurance providers if you want to unlock personalized details.
See your dashboard
You will see three stat tiles at the top: overdue, coming up, and unused benefits. Tap any to jump to the relevant view. The dashboard also shows a striking card if you have unused insurance benefits.
Sync to your calendar
On the dashboard, click Sync my schedule. This downloads a .ics file. Import it into Google Calendar or Apple Calendar, and you will get reminders 7 days before every screening, on every device you already own.
Track insurance benefits
Go to Benefits. Tap a template tile (Dental cleanings, Massage therapy, Physiotherapy, etc.) to add it in one click. Or upload your insurance summary PDF and Watch It! will try to detect benefits automatically. Tag each benefit to the provider that offers it.
Log each use
When you have a dental cleaning or use a massage benefit, open Benefits and click Log a use. The progress bar fills up, and you can see how much is still on the table before the reset date.
Prepare for a doctor visit
On the dashboard, click Print summary for your doctor. You get a clean single-page view of your profile, all screenings with dates, and benefits. Print or save as PDF. Bring it to your appointment.
Back up your data
Open Profile, scroll to Backup and restore, click Download backup. You will get a JSON file. Save it somewhere safe (email to yourself, iCloud, Dropbox). On a new device, use Import backup to restore.
Change the look
Open Profile, scroll to Appearance. Nine themes to pick from, dark and light. Your choice is saved on this device.
Track what changes day to day
Open Track. Log a blood pressure reading and see what it means under the guideline your country's doctors use. Add medications and tick them off daily; the mobile app reminds you at each dose time. Take the one-minute wellbeing check-in once a month.
Add the rest of the family
Tap your avatar in the top bar, or Add person in the sidebar. Each person gets their own schedule, benefits, medications, and emergency card on this device. A backup file includes everyone.
Age and frequency rules come from public preventive-care guidelines, chosen by the country you set in your profile:
- United States: USPSTF, CDC, American Cancer Society, American Diabetes Association, and the ACC/AHA blood pressure categories
- United Kingdom: NHS screening programmes, the NHS Health Check, and NICE blood pressure categories
- Canada: Canadian Task Force on Preventive Health Care, provincial programmes, Hypertension Canada
- Nigeria: WHO, the Federal Ministry of Health and NPHCDA programmes, Nigerian Hypertension Society, Nigerian Cancer Society
Every card links to its source. If you have specific risk factors, family history, or an ancestry that a guideline treats differently, your doctor may recommend earlier or more frequent screening than Watch It! suggests. Ancestry only ever starts a check earlier or adds a note; it never removes one.
