Vision & Roadmap

The preventive-care assistant, in three phases.

Watch It! answers one question: what should I do next to stay healthy? Today it does that with a personalized schedule and benefit tracking. The plan below shows how it grows into a full personal preventive-care platform without compromising the privacy that makes people trust it.

Phase 1 · Now

Personal preventive-care essentials

Shipped. Static, serverless, private.

Personalized screening schedule

Age, sex, family history, and country tailor the recommendations.

Insurance benefit tracking

Dental, vision, massage, therapy, with reset-date reminders.

Next Recommended Action

A prioritized action list on the home screen. The killer feature.

Health Score

A single number for how current you are on preventive care.

12-month timeline

A calendar view for planning around work, family, and travel.

Local-first storage

Everything stays on your device. No account. No server. No data sold.

Calendar sync (ICS export)

Push reminders to Google, Apple, or Outlook, reminders on every device.

Country-aware coverage

Notes reflect ACA, Canadian provincial, UK NHS, Nigerian NHIA and HMO, or generic contexts.

Doctor summary export

One-tap printable preventive summary to bring to your appointment.

Citations on every screening

Learn-more links to USPSTF, CDC, ACS, ADA, AAO for every recommendation.

Backup & restore

Export everything to a file and import it on any device. No account, no server, nothing leaves your control.

Benefits PDF import

Drop in a benefits statement and the app reads your dental, vision, massage, and therapy allowances straight off it.

Family mode

Spouse, children, and parents on one device, each with their own schedule, benefits, medications, and emergency card. No account needed.

Emergency health card

Offline screen: medications, allergies, contacts, conditions, and the emergency number for your country.

Blood pressure log

Readings categorised under the guideline your country's doctors use (ACC/AHA in the US, NICE and ISH elsewhere), with trend and history.

Medication reminders

Daily dose times with a tick-off list. Phone notifications in the mobile app, daily calendar events on the web.

Wellbeing check-in

Work hours, sleep, stress, and the two-question mood screen doctors use, once a month.

Ancestry-aware start ages

Earlier prostate, diabetes, and glaucoma checks where a published guideline says so. Additive only.

International guidelines

US, UK (NHS programmes), Canada, and Nigeria, each with local intervals, insurers, currency, and emergency numbers.

Phase 2 · Next

What we can't do on a static site, yet

Requires authentication + secure backend.

Push notification reminders

The app reaches you when a screening comes due, even months later. Today, calendar sync does this job.

Secure account sync

Encrypted sync across phone, tablet, and desktop. Also protects you if browser data is cleared.

Guideline update pipeline

Screening rules tracked against USPSTF, CDC, and ACS changes so recommendations never go stale.

AI health assistant

"Why am I getting this test?" answered in plain language, on demand.

Vaccination passport

Track flu, COVID, Tdap, HPV, Shingles, and pneumococcal with reminders.

Medication refill reminders

Lightweight, refill dates only, not full pharmacy integration.

Provider portal

Doctors send reminders; patients share their preventive dashboard securely.

Insurance integration

Direct connection with insurers to auto-import remaining benefits.

Clinic finder + booking

Find and book dentists, labs, pharmacies, and imaging in one flow.

Smart PDF sharing

One tap: send the preventive summary to a doctor or family member.

Phase 3 · Future

Where the platform is going

Longer horizon. Bigger surface area.

Wearable integration

Read (not overwhelm with) data from Apple Health, Google Fit, Fitbit, Garmin.

Lab result tracking

Cholesterol, A1C, blood pressure, vitamin D, with trend lines.

Medical record import

OCR-extract dates from lab PDFs and imaging reports.

Predictive prevention

"You are likely to become overdue for 5 screenings this year", not diagnosis.

Employer wellness

Companies offer it as a benefit; HR sees only aggregate participation.

More countries

Australia, the EU, India, Ghana, Kenya, and South Africa, each with their own programmes and insurers.

Provider SaaS dashboard

Clinics see who's due and reminder engagement, a separate revenue line.

Business model

How this becomes sustainable

Privacy-preserving revenue at every tier.
Free

Core prevention

Screening reminders, benefit tracking, calendar sync, doctor summary. Forever free.

Premium

Cloud + Family + AI

Cross-device sync, family accounts, AI assistant, document storage, advanced exports.

B2B

Employers

Employee-benefit wellness with anonymous participation metrics. HR never sees individual data.

B2B

Providers

SaaS dashboard for clinics to reduce no-shows and improve preventive-care compliance.

Partnerships

Booking & insurance

Referral relationships with labs, pharmacies, and insurers, always with explicit user consent.

A note on our architecture. The current version of Watch It! is intentionally lightweight, privacy-first, and runs on a serverless foundation with no user accounts and no cloud storage. This isn't a limitation, it's a product decision. As the platform grows, we'll introduce secure cloud services, AI-powered assistance, and healthcare integrations while preserving the core promise: your health data stays yours. Two honest trade-offs of today's version: your data lives only in this browser (clearing site data erases it, so use the doctor summary export as a backup), and the web version can't wake your phone, so use calendar sync (every screening repeats on its own interval) or the mobile app, which schedules notifications on the device itself.
Not medical advice. Watch It! provides general preventive-care reminders based on public guidelines. Always consult your doctor for personalized recommendations.
